очень важная лекция Джеймса Хансена "Будущее наших внуков".
Дж. Хансен - директор Годдаровского института при НАСА.
В результате длительной работы по обработке данных, полученных из космоса и
наземных измерений, он первый пришел к выводу: планета нагревается. В
последствие его работы продолжены институтом IPCC. Его несколько раз
пытались уволить при давлении со стороны администрации Буша.

Лекция Хансен лекцию читает после вступительного слова Субанкара Банерджи.

По реакции студентов можно почувствовать как его уважает молодежь.

introduced Hansen and engaged in a conversation with him. Banerjee and
Hansen spoke of the "non-human" communities that we are wiping out because
of oil drilling, global warming, and climate change, which is often times
overlooked in mainstream media and government. They also touched upon clean
energy, new fuel sources, the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline, and what it
means to our daily life and our planet's future.
