Tomorrow in Azerbaijan one day will be planted 650 thousand trees.
In all areas where it is planned to plant trees, work is completed, holes are
dug and seedlings are delivered.
The tree planting campaign, initiated by First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva and timed to the 650th anniversary of the brilliant poet Imadeddin Nasimi, will cover all regions of the republic: his memory, popularization of the literary and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, will be attended by public figures, representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations, employees of state s and private sector. "
According to her, planting 650 thousand trees in one day will expand landscaping zones, reduce the impact of climate change, which is a global problem for all mankind, and prevent soil salinization: “We believe that this action will lay the foundation for a noble tradition aimed at bringing people together around like initiatives. "
