Next Generation Accounting and Transparency Under the Paris Agreement
Description:
At
the recent climate talks in Katowice, Poland, Parties agreed to rules and
guidelines that will determine how they plan, implement and review their
national climate action in support of the Paris Agreement. This is a critical
element of international transparency to support the cycle of ambition
envisioned to curb the worst impacts of climate change. During this webinar, we
will give an overview of the decisions made on guidance for accounting and
tracking progress of NDCs and provide perspective on the domestic implications
for national greenhouse gas accounting and review.
