*Glyphosate causes cancer -- even at exposure levels that authorities
consider safe.* That's the conclusion of a scientific study that's just
been published in the peer-reviewed journal *Environmental Health*.

This is the world's most comprehensive independent animal study ever
conducted on glyphosate, the world's most-used weedkiller chemical.

*But the science isn’t enough.* Our governments will ignore this new study
if we let them, and won’t* dare to confront the chemical industry lobby*
unless we show them that’s what we demand:

The UN’s top cancer experts already warned us back in 2015: glyphosate
causes cancer in lab animals.

This comprehensive new study, led by the Ramazzini Institute in Italy, goes
even further though, showing that long-term exposure – *even at low levels
equivalent to the EU’s Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) – causes early-onset
leukemia in rats.*

So glyphosate spin doctors can’t even say “the dose makes the poison”
anymore to dismiss glyphosate cancer concerns. No more excuses.

Some governments have restricted glyphosate and glyphosate-based
weedkillers – but *it’s time for total bans*, and this landmark cancer
study could help make that happen:
