Дорогие члены сети,
на фоне продолжающихся попыток Росатома начать стройку новых АЭС в странах
Центральной Азии, а также сильного атомного лобби, которое даже смогло
пропихнуть атом в таксономию ЕС есть предложение использовать силу сети, чтобы
написать актуальную позицию о том, почему атом не спасет ни климат, ни
людей.
Я объявляю о наборе в рабочую группу, которая подготовит драфт документа,
который потом смогут комментировать все члены сети.
Напишите мне до 14 февраля, если вы обладаете экспертизой в вопросах
атомной энергии и хотели бы принять участие в написании драфта.
Создание позиции - это одна из базовых активностей сети, для этого не
предусматривается отдельный бюджет на гонорары и т.д. Но думаю мы сможем
оплатить перевод на нужные языки региона.
Почему сейчас и что делать с позицией?
- На самом деле разговоры об общей позиции с актуальными примерами из
региона были еще год назад, но война откинула эту активность на второй
план
- Как региональная сеть, мы можем "принимать удары" атомного лобби в соц
сетях и стать площадкой, где члены сети могут спокойно высказать свое
недовольство, это одна из наших целей работы
- Атомное лобби становится только сильнее, в том числе в странах ЦА, где
еще не было АЭС и нет НПО с такой экспертизой. Нам нужно иметь в рукаве
качественные готовые аргументы и материалы на эту тему, чтобы нашим членам было
легче вести информационные кампании
- Позицию мы используем для коммуникации онлайн, а члены сети на основе ее
могут уже писать национальные обращения в свои Минэнерго и т.д.
Так что, жду волонтеров!

looking at ongoing attempts by Rosatom to start building new nuclear power plants in Central Asia, as well as a strong nuclear lobby that even managed to push the nuclear into the EU taxonomy, there is a proposal to use the power of the network to write an up-to-date position on why the nuclear will save neither the climate, nor people .
I am announcing recruitment to a working group that will prepare a draft document, which can then be commented on by all members of the network.
Write to me by February 14 if you have expertise in nuclear energy and would like to participate in drafting the document.
Creating a position is one of the basic activities of the network, for this there is no separate budget for honorarium, etc. But I think we can pay for the translation into the required languages of the region.
Why now and what to do with the position?
- In fact, there were talks about a common anti-nuclear position with current examples from the region a year ago, but the war pushed this activity into the background
- As a regional network, we can "take the blows" of the atomic lobby in social networks and become a platform where members of the network can calmly express their dissatisfaction, as this is one of our goal
- The nuclear lobby is only getting stronger, including in the Central Asian countries, where there has not yet been a nuclear power plant and there are no NGOs with big expertise on the topic. We need to have high-quality ready-made arguments and materials on this topic, so that our members can more easily conduct information campaigns.
- We use the position for online communication, and based on it, network members can write national appeals to their Ministry of Energy, etc.
That said, I'm waiting for volunteers!
