One Big Thing: The 72nd Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Take the Poll Today marks the 72nd anniversary of the passage of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) by the United Nations. The UDHR outlines the rights and protections that all humans are entitled to, regardless of their location, age, sex, religion, and race. Included in this document are freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and right to property.
