There's
a reason factory farm owners don't want you to know what
happens there. In fact, corporations in charge of
these facilities are so afraid you'll see the grotesque
horrors inside that they've paid untold amounts of money
convincing politicians to pass so-called "ag-gag laws." These
laws, designed to gag those who would tattle on the brutal
agricultural industry, turn factory farms into veritable
fortresses. The only reason we know about the disgusting
conditions on these farms is due to brave animal activists who've managed to film
the truth and expose it for all the world to
see.
Under ag-gag laws, such
whistleblowing is actually classified as a crime —
and one that's considered worse than the actual
cruelty that was exposed. These corporations have
politicians so deep in their pockets, it's even become a
criminal offense to apply to a job at these
facilities without first disclosing connections to any animal
welfare organizations. They're doing everything in their power
to prevent heartwrenching insider footage from ever getting
out and reaching the public. Sign the petition to demand that all U.S. states
oppose ag-gag laws and work to improve conditions for farm
animals, not hide them.
Thank you for all that you do,
