Коллеги,

КЕН вместе с Global Call for Climate Action and UNFCCC организовывают
семинар по коммуникации науки изменения климата (как подготовка к выходу
отчета IPCC) в Бонне 15 июня во время переговорной сессии.

Было бы очень полезно, чтобы от нашего региона там были представители, а
еще лучше, если бы потом кто-то из них помог скоординировать рабоу сети по
коммуникации науки изменения климата с выходом отчетов IPCC. Как минимум,
подготовить брифинг для журналистов, шаблон пресс-релиза, предложить что
можно сделать на национальных уровнях к выходу отчета. Эти материалы могли
бы использовать все НПО, которе занимаются вопросами изменения климата.

Я знаю Андрей Ожаровский и Ярослав брались подготовить план работы сети к
выходу отчета, сможете ли вы быть на этом семинаре? Сообщите мне кто
планирует туда пойти из сети.

on the communicating the science workshop, plus the draft agenda, followed
by the invitation, in case you wanted to distribute it further.

The world's two biggest networks of NGOs working together to fight climate
change, the Global Call for Climate Action and Climate Action Network
International, together with the United Nations Foundation would like to
invite you to speak at our "Communicating The Science" Workshop in Bonn,
Germany on Saturday, June 15, 2013.


With the release of the IPCC's fifth assessment report beginning in
September, the next 18 months will provide an opportunity for global civil
society to communicate the urgent nature of the climate crisis with updated
evidence from the world's premier climate science body.


In the lead up to this key moment, the purpose of this full day event is to
give civil society organizations and advocacy groups the skills to
communicate climate science in an accurate and engaging manner.

9.15 - 9.30: How CAN and GCCA are supporting CSOs work on the

its latest research on audiences and messaging in key countries. Q and

13.30-14.30: Understanding what makes your audience tick: using values

b: Unusual Suspects: Identifying and working with allies and messengers to

With the release of the IPCC's first assessment report in six years coming

the 2015 treaty.

To help to ensure that we, as civil society, harness this moment
effectively, Climate Action Network and the Global Call for Climate Action
together with the United Nations Foundation, are offering you the
opportunity to attend a workshop which will offer insights and practical
tips on effectively and accurately communicating the latest climate science
to your chosen audiences. The workshop will be informed by the latest
audience and messaging research and will be delivered by experts in the
field of climate change communication.

Who Should Come: The workshop is designed expressly for civil society
organizations and advocacy groups - in particular, their campaigners,
spokespeople and communicators. Registrations from other interested
parties will be considered by the organizers.

Details: The full day workshop will be held in Bonn, Germany on June 15,
2013. The plenary speeches will be webcast for those unable to attend in
person.
