Environment Day 2017
June 5:
Our day for the

Dear
Friends,
World Environment Day is now just
three weeks away, but already plans are coming
together to make it the biggest and most
influential in history.
Today, over 250
events have been registeres, but if we all plan to
do something - be it big or small - we can come
together to hit 1000 activities in the next seven
days!

It's so easy to organize an event.
It
can be as simple as going for a walk with friends
to be inspired by nature or as exciting as
organising a major plastic clean up with hundreds
of people on your nearest
beach.
Already:
- People are coming together to
organize bird-watching walks in
India
- Tea-pickers will be planting trees
across Kenya
- In
Austria, hikers will be taking to the hills to
pick up litter off the mountains.
This year, we will be giving
special recognition to organizers that let their
imagination soar. So for 2017, what's the highest
event? What's the coldest? What's the least
expected? What's the wettest? Let us know
what you're thinking and we will be in
