Dear colleagues,
fight for our rivers is
never-ending!
I am sending few lines about the crazy action we had last week
in Bosnia and Herzegovina + photos, video and press release.
Campaigners
from across Bosnia & Herzegovina have painted a huge mural on a ruined dam
in protest at the over 300 planned hydroelectric dams in the region. The
Coalition for the Protection of Rivers, representing over 20 organisations in
Bosnia & Herzegovina, are calling for dam building to stop and for
development to be focused on tourism and traditional activities.
