That it can just announce the federal
government is closing its eyes to the climate
crisis (and giving a great gift to fossil fuel
companies) and get away with it.
That it thinks we’ll all be so distracted by
the other headlines that we won’t notice, or
understand, or care.
We know different.
We know seven out of 10 Americans see
what’s happening to our planet and want the
government to act swiftly and boldly to
leave fossil fuels behind and grow our economy
with a transition to clean, renewable energy.
What can we do in the meantime? Make sure
that this critical issue does not get lost in the
noise by speaking up and talking about the crisis
with our friends, family members, colleagues, and
everyone in our lives.
Hundreds of people will be making a
meaningful difference by hosting presentations
about the climate crisis in their homes,
classrooms, workplaces, and community centers,
ensuring that people who care about this issue
have the chance to get involved.
This one-of-a-kind mass action is coming up
on November 20-21 – but there’s still time to help
us make a difference.
And if you have questions about what it means
to host a presentation and join the global climate
conversation,
take a look at these
FAQs.
We have to keep the conversation going.
Thank you for everything you do. Together,
we must, we can,
and we will solve the climate crisis.
