One Big
Thing: Would you get the Russian
coronavirus vaccine?
| |
What is
it?
Why is it
important?
- The
shrouded release of Sputnik V amid the
uncertainty about its effectiveness and safety
epitomizes Russia lack of transparency in its
domestic and foreign policy. The Russian
government always prioritizes its own agenda
ahead of the wellbeing and safety of its own
citizens.
- Because
Sputnik V has not been rigorously tested, it
could be a dud and has potential to carry
negative side effects for those who are
inoculated. Without further testing, there is no
way of knowing whether the vaccine will be
helpful or destructive.
What can you do?
