One Big
Thing: Do you think the Kremlin is to
blame for poisoning Russian opposition leader
Alexei Navalny? | |
What is
it?
Why is it
important?
- The
Russian government has clearly put itself in
direct opposition to the ideas of democratic
governance domestically and in its foreign
policy. Time and time again, agents of the
Russia state have attempted to undermine the
democratic choices of citizens around the world
to promote their own agenda.
- This
is not the first instance of the Russian
government using poison for a political end.
Journalist and opposition activist Vladimir
Kara-Murza has been poisoned twice and
suffered similar symptoms including a coma.
What can you do?
