Demo Days in the Village Akhalsopeli of Zugdidi Municipality


On March 10, 2016 the International organization ACF, in the framework of
the European Neighborhood Program for Agriculture and Rural Development
(ENPARD) and EC funded project “Supporting Agricultural Co-operation in
Georgia” organized the Demonstration Day in the village Akhalsopeli of
Zugdidi municipality. The focus of the Demo day was intensive
horticulture-production of Iceberg/Botiola variety of lettuce in the 250 m2
greenhouse equipped with modern technologies. 20 farmers from the
municipalities of Zugdidi, Tsalenjikha and Chkhorotsku attended the
Demonstration day. The invited expert Tamar Zarandia and the project
beneficiary farmer Leila Gadilia answered questions raised by farmers
