Children deserve food. Full stop. Trump's USDA Ripped Away 1 Billion Dollars in Funding For Food Banks and School Meals, Leaving the Most Vulnerable Hungry      Sign Now        Taking food out of the mouths of children and the hungry: this is one of the latest deplorable moves by the current U.S. administration.    Last month, the USDA — the government agency that, among other things, is tasked with ending hunger nationwide — announced that it was terminating over 1 billion dollars in funding that would go towards feeding the hungry.   Sign the petition if you want to keep school lunches and food banks fully funded!   It's all thanks to Donald Trump's ridiculous, ill-willed plan to cut federal spending where it's needed most while still allowing himself and his uber rich friends to enjoy tax breaks and a manipulated market.   This means that millions of children will lose the free school lunches they desperately rely on. Families in need of support, short on cash or living in food deserts, will suddenly be stripped of basic nutrition that food banks provide them.   This is pure.
