There is, but as the onload attribute is now valid for all
elements in html5, it is listed among the global attributes:
http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/#global-attributes
and not on the script element, which is probably why you may
think it has disappeared?

This doesn't mean all elements will actually call an onload
handler, but if you check the algorithm specification for the
script element:
http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/#script
you find the text "Fire a simple event named load at the script
element", so script.onload is fine. (You also find that it
may fire an error event, so env.js may want to implement the
onerror handler too.)
