Subject: Community Garden - March events
Sat Mar 8, 9 a.m. until noon.- Community Garden Work Day. We'll be
adding more plants to the Cutting Garden, plus distributing some of
the donated mulch. Bring your tools or use ours. All ages are welcome.
Work days are scheduled approximately every three weeks.

Tues Mar 11, 6pm - Community Garden Meeting.  Join the team that's
making it all happen!  As we continue to add to the Cutting Garden, we
are turning our sights to Phase 2: The Vegetable Garden, where we'll
grow vegetables and citrus to benefit the poor.  At this meeting we'll
be setting the timeline for the Vegetable Garden, scheduling the
kickoff event, and inventorying the resources donated thus far.

Sat Mar 29, 9 a.m. until noon.- Community Garden Work Day. (Exact work
tasks to be determined)  Bring your tools or use ours. All ages are
welcome. Work days are scheduled approximately every three weeks.

Community Garden at Holy Nativity

Westchester (LA 90045)

The Community Garden at Holy Nativity is an ongoing project to
"repurpose" urban land.  Property which once was non-functional lawn
and junipers is being replanted to "Obtain a Yield": organic
vegetables and citrus to feed the poor, plus cut flowers for community
events.  Read more about it at
