ENTS,

UNCA is holding its 36th annual Wildflower and Bird Pilgrimage this
weekend ( May 2-4, 2008 ). It will feature a number of outings like
ones to Douglas Falls and to the Ray mine. Also our esteemed president
Will Blozan will give a presentation titled " New Perspective of Old
Forests. " Where he will talk about preserving and documenting the old
growth Eastern Hemlock forests of the Great Smokies and the effect HWA
has had on the ecosystem there.

As ents we know of Will's exploits. But his tireless effort of getting
the word out deserves a big thumbs up. As Larry the Cable Guy would
say. Git er' Done!!

I am not sure yet whether I will be able to make any of the events
this weekend but I thought I would let ENTS know. The cost is $ 5:00
or $ 1:00 for students at UNCA. It was my Pastor, Walt Christian who
brought the event to my attention.

Here is the link to the site concerning the events.
