Going by the numbers might be misleading. I mean, look at Shields
versus Bucklers. I haven't run the actual comparison yet, but shields
look like they do way less protection than bucklers, but that doesn't
really make sense, as shields are huge in comparison to a buckler.
There may be a set of numbers that we can't see that contribute to
game mechanics we aren't aware of. Going strictly by the numbers, in
other words, might not be entirely accurate between classes of
different objects, though it's probably useful comparing similar
objects.
