I have dewDrop 5 up and working.  I tried EWD Touch2 Reference Simple Hello World.  I am unable to get a view from my browser.
There are no compile errors, first issues displaying page is https instead of http.  I can see code in Page Source Chrome browser and Firefox.  Any ideas on how to proceed to find the problem would be great.

thanks

Try using Chrome or Chromium or Safari. Sencha touch requires a webkit enabled browser, I believe.

Thanks for the offer, currently schedule will not allow traveling at this time.  I am currently learning on my own in the future plan to share and also see if it opens career doors here in Oklahoma.

Hi,
I'm having about the same issue. dewdrop5 (download from http://www.fourthwatchsoftware.com/) appears to be up and running but when I try to load the "hello world" (index.ewd) file I get back some strange text (see attachment). Actually when i compile the app, i get kicked out of gtm and back into unix which seems strange and contrary to the pdf output listing (After compiling i should remain in gtm).
Per the attachment, I'm wondering about this: DOCUMENT_ROOT=/var/www. I'm not quite sure where the /var/ is coming from.
Also in index.ewd is the text: <st:container rootPath="/sencha-1.0/" title="Hello World">
However /sencha-1.0/ does not appear to exist in dewdrop so I'm wondering if this is something I have to install myself i.e. if I have to install sencha separately because it does not come by default with dewdrop.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks much.

Zuwa.

When asking for assistance here, please make sure you do the following:

- post a copy of the *source* EWD page(s) and source code for their associated onBeforeRender() method(s) (if applicable)
- post the URL you're using to try to run the application

If you don't give people enough information to replicate the issue you're experiencing quickly and easily, you're unlikely to get any useful help
