How do you assign a particular Library to Hotfolder imports?

Cheers

Hello,

I have HotFolder "images" with external path "/mnt/data/images"
I did create library with name "Local Images" and in "Hot Folder Path" I have "images" (I did try "/mnt/data/images")  as well.
I thought when importing all images from that HotFolder they will be assigned to library "Local Images" but nothing really happens.
When I put a new image in HotFolder it is imported ok but it keeps saying "There are no project associated with this asset. Add project below." in image's info
and "No assets are associated" in library's info. Do I have to create project or something else ?

Hi Michal,

I think the reason is that libraries can only link to a subfolder of a hotfolder.  You can get it to work by creating a folder within "images" and setting Hot Folder Path in libraries to point to it, for example, something like "images/newFolder"

In case anyone else runs into this issue, Michal wrote back to say this did remedy it
