Clarification of Requirements for Fictional Narrative Workshop on 11/2

The idea of the workshop is to get feedback on a substantial draft of
your group's fictional narrative. To that end, you must have at least
90% of your draft complete (i.e. something very close to 5pgs). Your
group should bring enough copies for everyone in that group and 5
additional copies (i.e. if you are in a 3 person group, 8 copies of the
narrative should be made). One of those copies will be for me. I will
read through all of the drafts and give you comments and suggestions.

In terms of formatting, I do not expect the narratives to be in their
final formats (whatever that may be). The narratives should be in
something close to MLA format so that I can judge how long it is.

Each narrative should begin with a short paragraph that explains both
what the final format will look like (i.e. a diary, periodical, recipe
book etc.) and what the general plot or conception of the narrative is.

You will receive a quiz grade for your group's draft as well as for
reviewing other group's draft. If you are absent on that day, you will
receive zeros for those two grades and will not be able to make them up.
I will provide questions for you to answer as you read each others' drafts.

Please let me know if you have any questions about any of these
requirements in class tomorrow.

Best,
Lisa Hager
