Wake up you Labour voters

Why do you think Cameron didn't get a thumping majority? It's because Blair
and Brown have engineered a guaranteed voter base over the last 13 years
through social engineering, welfare handouts, uncontrolled immigration. and
'dumbing down' of the population.
Skilled workers have also left Britain in droves over the last few years,
denting the Conservative voter base.
The reason why a Labour govt is so **** hard to get rid of is because
collectively, the people of this country have become stupid.
Average Labour voter IQ tends to be less that Tory voter IQ. It's fact that
IQ and fertility are negatively correlated....one reason why Labour voters
(or people with lower IQ) outbreed the rest of the population.
This is why we didn't get a Tory landslide....it's because Labour can do no
wrong.

I'm sure (seeing as we all know it's possible to tie votes to individuals
via the unique serial number on the ballot paper) that some data analysis
could be run to demonstrate same?
After all, there are apparently parts of Glasgow with 80% unemployment and
yet all six Glasgow seats returned Labour candidates?

In 2005 Labour got less of the popular vote than the tories got last
week and ended up with a 60 odd seat majority. Thats some indication of
the extent of the gerrymandering thats gone on under the governance of
the people's party.

Yep. I'm not fancied another term of Labour bashing civil liberties into
oblivion. I didn't fancy the Tories with a massive majority either after
the Thatcher years.
This is at least notionally different. I do hope the Libs and the Tories
manage to moderate each other for the better and not the worse.

I think thats going a bit far regarding the benefits etc.
My take is that people in some areas just have an almost religious belief in
"Labour" - certainly the area I am in is like that.
Nobody goes to the polls thinking of how to best keep on collecting dole -
just the thought of Labour is so engrained, its unlikely ever to change no
matter what the party or the council do.

Jobs "created" for a full employment that meant everything was losing money
hand over fist with unions demanding more from the government and the
country surely could not have continued forever.
A similar situation seems to be happening in British Airways at present.

Cameron won by a very big landslide - as the figures have borne out, higher
vote share and "swing" than Blair or Thatcher. The system has been loaded
towards Labour it seems and so we now have the coalition.
Make no mistake though Gordon, Campbell, Mandy and the Labour clan have been
given a resounding beating in the election.

No bridges, no implants. Granny gets a headache - she goes to
the doctor, its "free". But it isn't free, and the guy that delivers
the laundry to the hospital drives around the block a few times
to idle away his day, it's paid for by the NHS - which is paid for
by YOU.
Free roads... go wherever you like. But the road tax depends on
the vehicle with gas guzzlers paying the most, and those wretched
humps are everywhere. So are the speed cameras, especially
where they can collect the most revenue. Fuel, $7.50 a gallon.
Any American would start a revolution if they had to pay that.
And don't drive into London, its �8 for the congestion charge,
even for pensioners.
Tobacco and alcohol -- pay VAT on the duty as well as the
product.
Turn 60 and you don't visit the Jobcentre, you collect pension
credit instead. Some people cannot afford to work, they'll be
worse off if they did.
And when we step back and look at all the waste, we find this
nanny state is in debt from handing out benefits with one hand
and taking them back with the other.
This country once made cars, planes, ships and railways and we
sold them around the world. The people of the west and the north
raised sheep and dug coal and made steel and turned cotton into
shirts and sheets. Our wealth was our industry and we built an
empire through trade, we started the industrial revolution. Now
we import the goods we once made, a TV is cheaper from Asia.
What do we have to sell now to buy our imports? Insurance?
The unions and the Labour movement have brought us to our
knees, the investors have pulled out, and guys like Brown are
proud of their achievements. They make me want to spit.
