Tighten Up Enfield
Tuesday May 1, 6:00-8:30pm
Enfield Valley Grange, 178 Enfield Main Road, Ithaca
Community Potluck Dinner at 6pm
Program Begins at 7pm
Are you interested in saving money, increasing the comfort and safety of your home, and making your home more efficient? Are you trying to use less energy? Come to Tighten Up Enfield and start now to upgrade your home for next winter!
A panel of Cooperative Extension staff and local home performance contractors will cover whole-house energy upgrades, how home energy assessments work, how to choose a contractor, new programs that can help pay for home energy upgrades, and how to complete the 1-page application for a reduced or no-cost home energy assessment. Bring a copy of your most recent energy bills (12 months of heating and electric) and your home's square footage to sign-up for an assessment on the spot! A panel of Enfield families will also talk about their experience making energy upgrades.
Residents of other communities are welcome to attend. Bring a dish to pass and place setting for the potluck starting at 6pm. The program begins at 7pm.
