Thank you *very* much for Emacs+.

I learned emacs many years ago and always used Ctrl-[ from the
keyboard instead of the Esc key. In the ASCII table Ctrl-[ == Esc, so
on dumb terminals this was never a problem.

Q: Is there a way that I can map Ctrl-[ to Esc with Emacs+?

Michael,
There is not a way to globally provide a single mapping in eclipse, but it is easy to do for each separate command that you wish to invoke this way: Use the keys preference; find the command you wish to re-map; make a copy of it; type Ctrl-[ followed by the appropriate invocation character into the binding sub window and save.  Repeat as necessary for other commands.  Onerous, but effective.  Once done, you can save your eclipse key preferences and load into other eclipse installations (once Emacs+ is installed in them), so the mapping should only have to be done once.
    Regards,
       Mark
