Thanks Yunijo for your very detailed reply. Took me a while to digest
all that and I got myself a Trifield meter to see for myself what is
going on.
There were actually no significant EMF readings at the bed but I am
definitely bothered by proximity of (switched off) ceiling fans. I
read somewhere that metal becomes magnetised by electromagnetic energy
