Subject: Invitation to Armenian-German Forum on Green Economy

Dear Friends,

The GIZ is inviting all interested organizations and experts to the
Armenian-German Green Economy Forum. The Forum was organized within the
frames of GIZ and KfW annual initiative under “Responsible Economic
Activities: Sustainable Development” title. The aim of the initiative is to
find out potential innovative ideas which will promote the development of
“harmless” economy.

Economic growth that is kind to resources, the climate and the environment
is at the heart of a sustainable economy. “Green Economy” is one of the key
themes scheduled for the Rio+20 Earth Summit in 2012. This overarching
economic and social model enables development that reduces poverty and
generates income and jobs without damaging the environment or increasing
social injustice.

After the official opening of the Forum participants will form four
parallel working groups on the following subjects:

1.       Green Business and Green Jobs

2.       Green Municipalities

3.       Sustainable/Organic Agriculture/Economy

4.       Business and Biodiversity

We will be glad to host you in one of the working groups where participants
will discuss the challenges and case studies on each subject listed above
and share with success stories.

For registration please fill in the attached registration form and send it
to giz-arme...@giz.de *by the 18:00 of 01 December 2011*.

Thank you for your interest.
