Hi,

Is there any way to get the ErrorMailModule to send an email when
signalling from inside a background thread that does not have access
to HttpContext?

I found this discussion
http://groups.google.com/group/elmah/browse_thread/thread/bf8b8899ebc82d69/ae27856300a8e3c2?lnk=gst&q=thread+signal#ae27856300a8e3c2
that describes how to log the error via:

ErrorLog.GetDefault(null).Log(new Error(ex));

Since the above discussion was a few months back, has anything changed
to accomodate email delivery of errors logged via a background thread?
Maybe a public static method in the EmailModule class or something
similar?

Kind regards

Have a look at the following thread post for some ideas around this:

Thank you Atif,

The referenced discussion's implementation worked for me.

Kind regards
