Conservation District Photo Contest
Amateur photographers have the opportunity to win cash and prizes in the South Dakota Natural Resources 2009 Amateur Photo Contest. Photos reflecting natural resource conservation in action in South Dakota and taken between September 1, 2007, and August 1, 2009, are eligible.
Three categories are open to entrants - adult, senior youth (14 through 18), and junior youth (13 and under). First prize to the adult winner is $100 cash. Senior and junior youth first prizes are $100 savings bonds, while second place senior and junior youth receive $50 savings bonds. A "People's Choice" prize of a $100 savings bond will be presented by those attending the South Dakota Association of Conservation Districts annual convention September 22 in Spearfish, South Dakota.

The contest is sponsored by the South Dakota Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society, the South Dakota Association of Conservation Districts Auxiliary, and the South Dakota Association of Conservation Districts, Inc.
