I need to use a couple of Jellybean switches on the Teabox for a
project that's on in 2 weeks.

I have an RJ cable supplied by electroptap plugged into Inputs 9-12 on
the Teabox. At the moment the other end of the cable is just bare
wires.
With a volt meter, I've determined that white is +5, and I'm assuming
that blue at the other end is ground.

I've copied the [digital_toggles] sub-patch from the Teabox help file
into my patch, and connected output 9 of the teabox object to it.

With the lead plugged in (nothing connected on the bare ends), and
audio on, the display switches are randomly going on and off
(generally in groups of 4) - I assume this is just noise.

If I try to activate a digital switch by shorting one of the switch
wires (black, red, green or yellow) to the power lead, nothing
happens.

So - I guess I don't know how I'm meant to wire a simple switch (a
Jellybean switch) to the Teabox, and I'm wondering what has to be true
for the noise on the inputs to stop.

Help!

thanks

David

Hmm. Ignore that, I was being stupid (and I don't seem to be able to
delete my origianl message :-( )
I didn't have audio turned on when i was connecting the switch leads
to the power lead. Duhh. It works much better now that processing is
on (and the spurious noise has gone too).
