hello

I have built an interface max patch for previewing the sensor
condition. something similar to the teaboxbridge.
so the problem is that while everything on idle position, there are
quite often and sudden peaks on the sensors' values.
My first guess was that I probably need to use a regulator or a ups
device with the teabox due to the unstable electricity supply. I
haven't yet though, I'll try it later at night.
Would that solve the problem?
Has anyone experienced a similar voltage peak?
Any insight would be much appreciated

thanx in advance

Hi lambros,

My first thought was that it would be an electrical issue like you
said. Power regulation being possible, induction noise from a nearby
power supply, depending on the sensors - noise from the input like
light, or acceleration, etc.

Did a UPS solve the issue?

I've also seen some strange issues with the built in spdif on newer
MBP's I'm very curious about this. You didn't mention the
interface. Is it by chance a MBP? Do the spikes still exist with a
different interface?
