Hello, I'm working in Scorm in Moodle and we're having some trouble
with random behaviors of the course packages with a few users. The
Scorm is mono-sco (one object) and in this few cases the status
remains "not attempted" even if the user completed it. The real
trouble is: there's no way to us reproduce the error because it occurs
really random. There's a hint to what could it be? We're trying to see
connection, user numbers (the courses have a lot of students, around
400-500) and another user behaviors, but nothing like a solution
appear until now.

Thanks for ever hint =]

first thing i would check is browser version.  do the users who get the 'not attempted' all use the same browser?  if so, maybe there's a browser-specific JavaScript error (happens all the time in Internet Explorer).

what version of SCORM are you using? SCORM 2004 support in moodle is very spotty.

We're using Scorm 1.2 in Moodle 1.9.4; about the browsers, there's a
big variation, but we'll already notice some strange behaviors in IE6
(but in just one pc, not all of them) but we'll follow today with this
point. I'll try to get these informations. Thanks a lot!!! =]

Ok, I found it. The event happen when the user logout of the moodle
without exit the activity, in the middle of the course.(pretty
specific, isn't it?) The status of the last page of Multi Scorm and
all the status of Mono Scorm get lost, and if the user passed in a
exercice, the status became not attempted. if there's no exercice, the
status remains blank. It happen in all browsers that I tested - IE6,
IE7 and Firefox.
Thanks again for the help, from now on we can manage the problem with
our students!
