Sevgili surdurulebilir yasam dostlari,

Gecen sene organizasyonunu benim ustlendigim Ekolojik Mimari ve Dogal Yapi calistayi ile ilki duzenlenen Turkiye Permakultur Bulusmasina muazzam evsahipligi yapan Bayramic Yenikoy girisimi 2012 baharinda yine mihenk tasi etkinlikleri agirlamaya hazirlaniyor.

Henuz genc bir girisim olmasina ragmen gerek yerelde kurduklari saglam iliskiler gerek Turkiye’deki ekolojik ve surdurulebilir yasam hareketinde aldiklari aktif rol ile pek cogumuzun takdirini kazanan bu girisimi takip etmenizi ve etkinliklerine katilmanizi oneririm. Turkiye gectigimiz yillarda surdurulebilir yasam tasarim felsefesi/bilimi/sanati olan permakulturle tanisti ve bu hareketin hizla yayilmasina sahit oldu. 2009′dan beri pek cok egitim duzenlendi, 200′den fazla kisi permakultur sertifikasi sahibi oldu. Geldigimiz noktada permakulture giris ve sertifika egitimi alan kisilerin toprak, su, bitkiler ve topluluk calismalari konularinda uygulamalarla daha derinlemesine ogrenebilecekleri bir atolye calismasi hayal ettik. Son 3 yildir Turkiye’de egitimler veren ve permakulturun onculerinden Penny Livingston-Stark ve Turkiye Permakultur Arastirma Enstitusu’nun kurucusu Mustafa Bakir’in, permakulturu aktif olarak uygulayan guclu bir asistan kadrosunun destegiyle verecegi bu ileri seviye permakultur calistayi, permakultur bilgi ve tecrube birikimimizi ciddi anlamda arttiracak.

İlki Haziran 2011′de duzenlenen bu calisma yine Penny Livingston Stark ve Janell Kapoor liderliginde gerceklesiyor. Gecen seneki calistay o kadar basarili ve keyifli gecmisti ki devaminin gelecegi suphe goturmezdi. Konularindaki yetkinlikleriyle oldugu kadar guleryuzleri ve renkli kisilikleri ile de gonulleri kazanan Penny ve Janell’i yine aramizda gormekten mutluluk duyacagiz. Ekolojik mimari ve dogal yapilar konusunda merakliysaniz bu calistay kacmaz. Umarim, ozellikle bu konuda kendini yetistirmek isteyen genc arkadaslarim katilirlar.

You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour. 

Now you must go back and tell the people that this is The Hour. 

Here are the things that must be considered: 
Where are you living? What are you doing? What are your relationships? Are you in right relation? 
Where is your water? Know your garden. It is time to speak your Truth. 

Create your community. Be good to each other. And do not look outside yourself for the leader. 
This could be a good time! 
There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift, that there are those who will be afraid. 

They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly. 
Know the river has its destination. 
The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, 

and our heads above the water. And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. 
At this time in history, we are to take nothing personal. Least of all, ourselves. 
For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt. 
The time of the lone wolf is over. 
Gather yourselves! Banish the word "struggle" from your attitude and your vocabulary. 
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. 
We are the ones we have been waiting for!
