Vodafone Foundation Mobile for Good Europe Awards 2013
Vodafone Foundation has announced the launch of the first Mobile for Good Europe Awards to search for iOS and Android apps designed to improve people's lives and deliver substantial public benefit. Creators of the winning apps, in categories including accessibility, mobilising public services, health and education, will receive a shared prize fund of € 200,000 to be used for the development of their innovations.

Warrington CCG and Warrington & Halton NHS Foundation Trust have formed a partnership with HCS, the trading arm of HFMA, to help it deliver protocol-driven care for high-risk patient groups in the local population. As part of a joint and system wide approach being run across all Warrington service providers by its local commissioner, Warrington Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the HCS Care Coordination service will work with local community and acute clinical staff to provide expert guidance and advice.

Agfa HealthCare Gains Top 10 Ranking in Prestigious German Lünendonk Listing
Agfa HealthCare announces that its German operations, Agfa HealthCare GmbH, have been ranked 8th in the 2012 edition of the well-known Lünendonk Listing of the top 25 software companies in Germany. The increased ranking is partly based on the company's annual revenue. In the same timeframe, the number of employees at Agfa HealthCare GmbH increased from 701 to 742.
