Thanks for the feedback - we'll definitely consider adding the ability
to upload videos directly to the effect generator to save having to go
via YouTube.

Yes this is unfortunately not a very easy feature to use. One reason
for this is that there are several different versions of Flash 'code'
and these are not very compatible with each other. Another reason is
that a lot of Flash movies aren't designed to be run from within
another Flash movie, and so do things like draw themselves outside of
their bounds and/or scale themselves up to fill the whole Flash player
space. So, overall, embedding Flash movies doesn't really work very
well and there's not much that can be done about it, but sometimes it
does work and might be worth trying! You can find more about
