Hi folks ,

As you know past one month the efarm team has been buzzing with the launch of our newest baby - efarmDirect - the first agri marketing portal for farmers. Since we launched the efarmDirect portal data collection drive , we have been swamped with huge response from farmers, buyers and agro industry. Our team has been doing the rounds in all the krishi melas ( bangalore, Nasik and right now at Pune) . The efarmdirect.com Portal site beta version is going LIVE tonight with the first set of over 5 lakh farmers across 4 states of Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Maharastra. Andra Pradesh .

As the process of registration involves collection of several critical data items , taking individual photographs ( it is almost a mini 'aadhar project' ) we are opening up the registration activity to local entreprenuers, students , NGOs and agri institutions. Now, you can not only participate in a critical mission to map out India's millions of farmers but also earn income from a interesting part-time job.

All one needs is a laptop, internet connection ,a small home-office setup from which to operate, and basic knowledge of computers. Preference would be given to rural women, army veterans, students and people with disabilities .

The first of the Franchisee training and enrollment program is to be held in Pune tomorrow (Saturday Dec 17th) . As our team is also having a stall at the Kisan mela which is in progress at Pune currently , it would give the trainees hands on expereince in handling the customers queries and enrollment process.

We would be providing a sales kit comprised of DVD of videos, materials and starter kit of forms
We would provide light refreshments at Venue
The franchises can stay back for the Pune Kisan mela and engage in active real registrations for subsequent days at our stall (Hall 2)

Kindly confirm your availability for this session latest by Saturday morning 10 AM . In case you cannot make it for this session, not to worry. We would be conducting thid periodically in other locations so do indicate your interests.
