Our team had a stop over at Pune enroute from Nasik Krishi mela for recruitment at SCMLD, SADHANA Pune. It is a very innovative management institute which is run on a 'Gurukul' type concept. Prof. Pillai who heads the institute is a legend and a pucca disciplinarian, but with innovative teaching methods which makes his students really well grounded, with high integrity and principles . Last year we had 3 people join my team and everyone was so impressed, that this year we went back and recruited 9 more across sales, ops & HR.
We had a innovative GD session : Instead of the boring Group discussion, we had a group 'DANCE' session and gave the student teams agri based themes to choreograph a song/dance event. First group oicked Vrindavan scene with cowherds dancing with gopis, Krsna & Radha. The second team did a takeoff on Kolaveri to highlight the farmer's problems...
