And if it helps any of you with getting started on your projects, I'm happy to share the Unity source to our projects with you (we'll have some stuff on github soonish too). 

Also, we did a little work to get Jabber working in Unity (mostly hunting around for a library that'd work on the old .net that unity uses). Let me know if that would be of interest and I'll share it.
