Hi there!
I was a tad bit reluctant to write about myself as I do not have the
background most of you do, but surely there is something I can do or
contribute to this group.
I am a hairdresser that is a bit tech crazy, I have owned my own
business - a salon of course, not a tech company.
I am always over come with the lack of quality education both here and
around the world particularly with the resources that are available.
It breaks my heart to see kids "stuck" in a life that could be so
different if only they were better educated. Certainly my life would
have been different. One of the things that really blew me away was
when I learned that in many places, prison planning is determined by
how many kids are not reading at level by time they are in 4th grade.

So I look forward to being helpfull in some small way, who knows,
maybe we could actually make a difference!
On Skype I am miamikat, I live in Miami which is eastern time zone.
Are ther plans to get together either there or in a google goup?
