The West, unprepared as usual, basically ignored
the fatwa of Osama bin Laden who declared war
on the United States in 1997. Osama bin Laden is
only an individual, but what the West must get is
he is representative of hundreds of thousands, if
not millions of radicalized Muslim jihadists. There
clear intention as stated by the leaders of numerous
radical Islamic groups is to replace man's law with
the law of Allah, the sharia and hadith. They believe
that Allah commands them to convert all peoples of
the planet earth to Islam. Those who refuse are to
be enslaved or slain.
