Any idea where to buy buttermilk 3.5% - I am sick of paying over $2/l
in Safe on Food or Safeway.

66St) is a dollar/ltr. Got some 1% buttermilk friday. Their best
deal is Oikos 2% Greek Yogurt (Danone) 17 gram protein/175g serving
for $1.50. Again it's best-before is Dec 22, but it's still good,
probably for a couple of weeks, in the fridge. Regular price for 500
grams of this thick, drained yogurt is over $5 at Safeways (half price
at best-before-date). Only Superstore had better price on this at 99-
cents a tub, their PC with honey being the best choice. And Greek is
the recommended yogurt by America docs. Yogurts seem to be fortified
with calcium to varying degrees so may have to watch to avoid kidney/
bladder stones.
