My '92 Plymouth Voyageur tranny has cratered.
The cost of a transmission for it is more than the van is worth but I'd
still like to know who does good work for as little $ as possible.
Any ideas? TIA

Seriously, you can get a much newer Caravan/ Voyageur in excellent working
condition for much less than the absolute cheapest transmission
rebuild/replace done by anyone. Unless you are capable of removing/replacing
it yourself with a known good transmission it's not worth it.
This is a 2000 Dodge Caravan on Edmonton Kijiji for $2200OBO. That's an 8
year newer vehicle for less than the cost of an inexpensive remove/ rebuild.
There's lots to pick from as well as this one. Unless you have a serious
emotional attachment to that '92 Voageur this is a better way to go.
