Good Afternoon, dear edibles.

It's certifiably spring here in Chicago.  We hear that the first couple asparagus tips are poking out of the ground.  We've secured a bit of famed midwest ramps for your kitchens - these rare onion-garlickey treats are amazing grilled or sauteed just on their own. Farmers are pumping greens out of the soil, especially here in Chicago, which love the damp chilly weather.  We've got some great new connections with Growing Home and Growing Power - who both have increased production here on the south side of Chicago.  And boy, is their produce looking nice.  :)  

Catch us for a great share this week again!  Place your orders via the webstore at www.ediblealchemyfoods.com/order or www.eae.ecwid.com.  Come volunteer this Saturday at 10am, we always need hands to break the shares out from the bulk farmer's boxes.  Kids are always welcome!!  Volunteering goes until 2pm, so stop by any time.  :)

There's still 5 spots left in tomorrow's Creative Kimchi class.  If you're interested, sign up via the webstore beforehand - or just come on over to Eco!  Class runs 6-8pm, and costs $25.  Bring 2 quart glass jars to take your fermented creations home in.  This class is geared towards teaching you how to ferment multiple kinds of vegetables- and to create your own recipes for a ferment that perfectly tickles your own tastebuds.
