Hey Edibles!

The local food scene is budding- our first outdoor markets start this week!  Farmers are beginning to add items to their availability slowly and we're getting some exciting calls about new crops of greens and radishes from our farms around the city.  Hooray!  Shares will be available for reservation for Saturday, look for tasty greens from Chicago's own City Farm, Windy City Harvest, Growing Power, & Growing Home.

EA is participating in some amazing events this early May, and we want you there too!  As coreganizers of Edible Alchemy, we're blessed to be part of an amazing artist's collective here in Chicago.  Both Underground Art Market & the Chicago Community Grant Salon take place at Eco's 'sister lofts' (which are a sight to behold in themselves) and are awesome experiences to connect and inspire in different ways.  So, we want you to come taste the magic too!  EA has been participating in both these events since their inceptions (2 years now) - we love to see how they grow and continue to inspire and cultivate community.  So, come on over!

What is the Underground Art Market?
The UAM is pop up market, featuring local, independent artists, & artisans that create art & fashion that focuses on wellness, recycled or re-purposed objects, functional art, and of course general awesome-ness. Add food from Edible Alchemy, drink, and a collection of amazing artists, and bright lights equals an amazing Sunday.

What is C-Haus?  C-Haus is a makers space in its infancy in Humboldt Park on Chicago's west side. C-Haus is the newest space in the TransCatyEco Collective and itself is a piece of art! Come see what is being created by artists like you, and learn how you can be involved.
