Dear Folks,

I just posted a new blog entry on my new garden bed reclaimed from a
mint monster take over.

Hope you find the 'don't do that' experience helpful.

Watch for my note about my lecture during the Boyce Thompson Arboretum
annual spring plant sale. The plant sale runs March 9th - 25th.
Lectures are free with admission and you get to support the Arboretum
and shop plants at the same time.

Also the Annual Herb Festival in early April is in the planning
stages. Date TBA - I always have something tasty to sample :-)

This Saturday (February 18th) I am at an event at the Superstition
Museum in Apache Junction. Get out of town and into a bit of desert
country and enjoy what should be a lovely day.

First, I am one of 7 presenters at the Superstition Mountain Museum
event "Celebrating Gardening In The Desert" in what is hoped to be an
annual event.

February 18, 2012, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Nominal admission fee for day is
$5 per person)

Smiling Dog Landscaping Learning Center (also in the Apache Junction
area) has several lectures coming up - are you a bird watcher?, you
might want to catch one of two classes this Saturday either before or
after the Museum event. Check out the calendar for other options the
rest of this month.

And finally but not least, the Valley Permaculture Alliance has a
variety of classes for the home gardener, critter lover.
