Dear Folks,

Well the storm has come in, raining now as I post this and so far
(happily) no hail here in the far east valley. We need to rain, just
not hail. The birds in the garden are looking a little miserable, but
I put this morning's seed out on the dry area of the patio - we are
such easy targets for these charming opportunists! No quail this
morning but they have been visiting regularly and we are hoping to see
'eggs with legs' this spring - the babies are pretty funny to watch.
They come out of the shell running.

. . .

I just posted on the blog with pictures what is happening in my
gardens and also all about the finished 'corning' beef experiment -
preview - it turned out great!

Enjoy the rain, your plants certainly will.
