Volunteers needed for the Million Dog March
Dear friends,
The Million Dog March on Sunday, June 2nd at McLaren Park in San Francisco is going to be a great opportunity to show the size and passion of the Bay Area dog community. The event will be fun—we’re trying to break a Guinness World Record for largest dog walk—and political—we’ll educate everyone who attends about the need to stand up to the attempts to restrict dog walking that we’re seeing throughout the Bay Area.
We hope to have a great turnout for the event, and that means we’ll need many volunteers that day to do jobs like:
Set up
Registration
Marking the course
Guiding people along the course
Clean up
And more!
Will you be a volunteer and help us make the event a huge success? You can volunteer for the whole day (this would be ideal) or for a block of several hours. We will be starting early in the morning, at around 6:30 AM, and finishing up by about 4 PM. You’ll get a free event t-shirt and our undying appreciation for your help.
To confirm that you can volunteer, please email Andrea Buffa,andreab...@gmail.com, byMay 20 with the following information:
Name
Email address
Cell phone number
T-shirt size
Availability (if not available for the whole day)
Any physical restrictions (such as not able to lift things)
Thanks so much for your help! For more information about the event as well as directions to McLaren Park, go to www.milliondogmarchsf.org
