Can't See Command Line Mode at Foot of Screen Without Resizing Window

Hi,

I've got a clean install of Eclim 1.5.2 in Eclipse 3.5.1 on Windows XP
SP2. When I open a file with the embedded Vim editor in Eclipse, I
cannot see the command line at the foot of the screen until I resize
the editor window. Is there any way to fix this? This also happens
with an empty vimrc file, so it's not a strange setting that is
causing this.

I haven't encountered this, but I'll try to reproduce it when I get a

partially reproduce it. With the default vim settings, my vim command
line was partially cut off. I was able to work around the issue by
adding the following to my _vimrc:

set guioptions-=m " turn off menu bar
set guioptions-=T " turn off toolbar

Can you try adding those and see if the issue still occurs?

Yup, problem solved. That fixed the scrolling/redraw problem too.
