Looking forward to getting your school garden in shape for the new school year? Are you looking for garden lessons? Do you want to help local students learn more about healthy foods? Are you interested in greening your community?
Meet others who also work and volunteer in local school gardens on Thursday, August 16, 4-5 pm, in El Cerrito, when "Growing West County School Gardens (GWCSG)," the network for school gardens in West Contra Costa County, will hold its next quarterly meeting.
Meet other educators and community leaders working to build resources for school garden programs in West Contra Costa County. Hear the results of the school garden survey GWCSG conducted this spring and learn about funding opportunities for your local school garden. All are welcome to attend!
