Yet another of many daily reminders why so many cities are installing protective bollards in busy pedestrian areas.

Great to see the city's response here, but incidents like these have killed dozens of persons in the past.  What if a school group had been crossing here?  This is one of the busiest pedestrian intersections in Connecticut.
